Welcome to the website of the BELLEFONTE COMMUNITY BAND!

Bringing music to the community for over 20 years, we are located in Bellefonte, PA a historic town full of Victorian charm and nestled in the geographic center of the state.

We are volunteer group consisting of dedicated musicians of all ages from the surrounding Bellefonte and State College communities. Our purpose is to share our love of music, and have fun while doing so. New members are always welcome: if you can play, you can join! We play a variety of music from traditional (Stars and Stripes Forever) to modern (Aint't No Mountain High Enough) so whether you are playing in the band or a member of our audience, there is something for everyone!

Rehearsals take place from Sept - December for our yearly Christmas Concert, and Brass Choir performances during Bellefonte Victorian Christmas. And from the end of Jan-May for our summer season of concerts which includes performances at the Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair, Talleyrand Park, the People's Choice Festival, Centre Crest, Health South, local churches and more!

As we approach our 2008 season, we are excited to welcome our two new co-directors: Erick Somodi and Natalie Stanton! As well as several new members! Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday January 29, 2008 from 7:30pm -9:00 pm at Bellefonte area middle school.
