Our director Natalie Stanton graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education (Minor in Music) in 2001. While attending LVC, she was a member of "The Pride of the Valley", Lebanon Valley College's marching band. She was also a member of the jazz band, low brass ensemble, tuba euphonium ensemble, and concert choir. She was extremely active in the coed community service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega.

Following college, Natalie moved to Baltimore, Maryland. She worked there for three years as a band director and instrumental music instructor providing children attending Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Baltimore with a quality music education!

In 2004, Natalie and her husband Curt decided that Baltimore might just be a little too big for them. They packed up and moved to Bellefonte, PA and are currently busy enjoying every aspect of life here in Happy Valley with their two children Cecilia and Alexander!

When she HAS to go to work, Natalie divides her 9-5 hours between Saint John the Evangelist Catholic School as a Music and Physical Education teacher and the YMCA of Centre County as a Zumba(r) Instructor.

Natalie says " I embrace my role as director of the Bellefonte Community Band with excitement and true love for the music, the members and the memories that we create each and every time that we are together.  I look forward to sharing my love and appreciation of music with the community!"
